Two Month Update

Hey Ya'll!!!

OMG its been two months since I've posted, and it has definitely been an eventful 2 months. I have so many things to share regarding what I have been up to, some big news and of course RJ news. So lets dive into it!

RJ is 3 months!

So RJ is now three months old! Time has flown by. He is becoming funnier each day and has a huge personality already. He loves when our family visits and spends so much time watching everyone. Over the last two months he has began to roll over, laugh and yell. RJ is becoming a very sturdy baby. He's a huge fan of breastmilk and is crushing 4 oz bottles in a setting. We are still breastfeeding and I am hoping to make my goal of at least 6 months. I think focusing on breastfeeding during quarantine has been a huge blessing and allowed me to really up my supply. Motherhood has been challenging but fun. Each day RJ changes so much. As of right now my biggest challenge is how to get him to stop crying during car rides.

We are Homeowners!

Rich and I did something super adulty and bought a house! I love our neighborhood and our house is absolutely perfect for us. Needless to say over the last two months I have been working on a bunch of little projects. I can't wait to share that journey with you all. Right now I have spent most of my time creating the perfect nursery for RJ. The first few weeks of RJ's life we spent in our apartment so his nursery was a corner in our living room. I am having so much fun putting together all of the pins I have saved on Pinterest into a real life room. The key to creating his nursery has been making sure I stay on budget while also being creative. However, thanks to Amazon it has not been hard to snag great deals. His nursery is about 80% done.

Love these acrylic bookshelves I scored off Amazon.

I am working on creating a jungle elephant theme room for RJ. These bamboo wall decals help set the vibe.

Love this Hobby Lobby Find.

We are still in the process of furnishing the house and it has been pretty challenging thanks to COVID-19. However, with Texas "reopening" hopefully we will be able to get more projects done. In the end despite all of the craziness going on in the world, I just feel blessed to enter this new season in life with my little family.

I am partnering with Ulta

If you remember, back in December I had an unfortunate incident with Ulta Beauty. Well if you follow me on Instagram you probably have noticed me posting more beauty finds. I am so excited to announce my partnership with Ulta beauty as part of the Ulta Beauty Collective. This opportunity has been nothing but amazing. Not only am I able to share with my friends, family and followers products that I love and work amazing on my skin, I am also able to give feedback to brands. This entire experience has taught me the importance of making lemonade out of lemons.

On Memorial day during a Zoom family call we all reflected on what we were thankful for. I honestly have so much to be grateful for and I am not talking about all material things. I must say that during these COVID 19 times my family has become closer and I am thankful for that. I am blessed to have a strong tribe around me, near and far, that make raising RJ and growing in my own motherhood role easier. The last two months have been amazing and i know that its only because of Gods favor and the love and support of those around me.

XOXO
