My 6 Current Obsessions

As a Ulta Beauty Collective Member, I have gotten to try so many goodies over the last 6 months; here are some of my absolute favorites that you definitely need! Trust me, they are worth it!

I've always had a combination skin type; my skin can appear oily at times, but overall it is dry--especially in the morning if I don't use the right product on my face. This is why I have fallen mad over heels over the Elemis Superfood oil. Its packed with superfoods like broccoli seed oil that help to hydrate and flax seed that smooths out your skin while also sealing in hydration. Its recommended to be used in the AM, but I use a few drops at night as well. I find that it instantly sinks in and absorbs. Seriously, slather this baby on your skin and immediately its absorbed. Not only will your skin feel smooth but it also smells great. I legit love the skin benefits of this oil, but honestly, it helps me unwind.

You may have heard of Beekman 1802 as they are known for using goat milk in all of their products. The Bubble Mask is described as "a soothing mask that bubbles up, leaving skin feeling clean, silky soft, light, and airy, just like foamed milk. The gel transforms into a cloud-like whipped foam that bubbles over the skin and feels like cool, sparkling water, then rinses away to leave your stressed skin feeling instantly calm, clear, and moisturized". Let me tell you, it does everything that they said it would. It comes in a pump system so its easy to apply and allows you to be conscious of the amount of product used without wasting it. I immediately understood why it was called a "calming" bubble mask as it has a Chamomile scent. So after you get the mask on your skin, about 3 seconds later it starts to bubble up becoming thicker over time. After removing the bubble mask, my skin felt soft and hydrated all over. I like that it is gentle and did not strip my skin nor did it leave my feeling tight and uncomfortable.

This is one of my "mommy time" treats. You know, one of the treats I pull out when I have RJ put to bed, Rich is somewhere watching a game and I have time to play spa day in my shower. This product deems it self as a four-in-one body scrub that can help tackle cellulite, stretch marks and ingrown hairs, while also improving overall skin texture. This pink clay is a mixture of Australian Pink Clay, Coconut and Macadamia Shells that are used to exfoliate the skin, as well as Virgin Macadamia Oil that helps to moisturize. I was surprise to see bits of environmentally-friendly Mica Glitter that leave your skin sparkling--- literally. I will caution you, when using this product a little goes along way and when the sand gets wet it becomes very creamy leaving your skin feeling as though you have showered and massage coconut oil on. Although I cannot say if it has helped improve my stretch marks, I do love the way it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth.

Ok, let me be honesty, I was not sure I was going to like this product since I am not a fan of lip plumpers because of the tingly/burning sensation, but this one does not have that. This balm is extremely hydrating and has a subtle tint which allows it to be build able. This balm comes in 8 shades but my favorite is Breeze and Mist. The Breeze shade add a light hint of color without becoming overbearing and the Mist color looks blue, but when worn is clear. One thing I love is that the tubes are magnetic so they snap shut when you close them which helps me as I just tend to throw chapstick and such into my purse. Out of all of my lipsticks and lip glosses I find myself wearing these lip balms because they are super absorbent and hydrating underneath my mask.

Eyeshadow Palette: Juvias Palace "The Berries"

Let me just say, I have a love affair going on with Juvias Palace. This was one of the first brands that I felt like understood my skin tone. I have never bought a palette from this brand that doesn't HIT. I literally love all of their pallets as they are super pigmented and allow me to go BOLD. I think this palette should be a staple in every girls make up bag because the colors are so buildable, as they are easy to blend. I also like that I am able to use this palette on not only my eyes as shadow, but also as a blush and a highlighter.

So a couple of years ago I saw a review of the KVD Tattoo Eyeliner where a girl was in a car accident and despite needing a BRACE, having her mascara smeared across her cheeks, the KVD tattoo eyeliner DID NOT BUDGE. Check it out here. Honestly, this was enough for me to want to make this a staple in my make up regime. The KVD Tattoo Eyeliner claims to be award winning waterproof eyeliner, and the critics are not lying. I wore this while swimming one day, rubbed my eyes and STILL had liner on. I also love how pointy the liner is, it makes doing a winged liner look a BREEZE.
